Our SJV parish family has been asked to raise $80,503. In order to reach our goal, we are asking each household to consider a gift that can be paid before the end of 2022.

SJV's Commitment Weekend is February 5th and 6th.  However, the Appeal does run year round annually from January 1 thru December 31. 

You matter to God. He shows us His love daily in real ways through all of the graces He gives to us. All that we have, including the breath in our lungs, are gifts from God. We are appointed stewards of every minute we have on this earth: the talents, skills and abilities God has given to us, and all of the treasures and resources whether given or earned.

What God asks of us in return is that we love Him and that we love one another as He has loved us (Mark 12:30-31). We can show our love to God through our prayer life, our service to those in need, and through warm hospitality. Another way is by financially supporting the good works of the Local Church, which is made up of the parishes, schools and facilities of the Diocese of Lafayette-in-Indiana, as well as our Chancery offices and staff in Lafayette.

The Catholic Ministries Appeal (CMA) is a way we can help fund the good works and ministries of our Local Church that are outside the scope of our local parish.
